Crypto Payment Gateway FAQ

Common questions about accepting crypto payments with QBitFlow

QBitFlow is a non-custodial crypto payment processing platform that allows businesses to accept cryptocurrency payments and manage subscriptions through smart contracts. We support multiple blockchains and provide tools for seamless integration.

We currently support Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), USD Coin (USDC), Tether (USDT), and other wrapped tokens. We're constantly adding support for more cryptocurrencies and tokens.

Getting started is easy! Sign up for an account, generate your API keys in the settings page, and integrate our SDK into your application. Check out our documentation for detailed instructions and code examples.

Test Mode lets you try the entire QBitFlow payment flow without spending any real money. You'll use test networks — separate blockchain environments that work exactly like the real thing, but with fake cryptocurrency that has zero value. Simply grab free test tokens from a faucet, add your test wallet to QBitFlow, create a product, and run through a complete payment transaction.

Test tokens are free! Visit a faucet for your chosen test network (like Sepolia for Ethereum or Devnet for Solana), paste your wallet address, and claim free test crypto instantly. These tokens have zero real value and are only useful for testing on test networks.

QBitFlow charges a flat 1.5% fee on successful transactions. No setup fees, no monthly fees, no withdrawal fees, no conversion fees. Our fee structure is fully transparent with no hidden costs.

QBitFlow uses a non-custodial architecture, meaning we never hold your funds. Payments go directly from the customer's wallet to your wallet via open-source smart contracts. No seed phrases, no private keys, no custody risk.

Yes! QBitFlow provides smart contract-based subscription management. You can create flexible subscription plans with different billing cycles (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and our smart contracts handle the recurring billing automatically. Customers authorize a spending cap once, and billing executes automatically each cycle.

We provide several integration options: SDKs for Python, Go, and TypeScript/JavaScript, pre-built hosted checkout pages, a WooCommerce plugin, and a comprehensive REST API. Check our documentation for detailed integration guides.

If a payment fails, we'll notify you through webhooks and display the failed payment in your dashboard. QBitFlow handles retries automatically. We also provide tools to communicate with customers about failed payments.

Prices are displayed in USD while the actual payment is processed in cryptocurrency. We handle the conversion rates automatically.

An allowance is a smart contract function that permits QBitFlow to withdraw up to a specified amount of tokens from your account. Funds cannot be withdrawn without prior authorization. This enables automated payments for subscriptions and recurring transactions without requiring manual approval for each payment. The funds remain in your wallet until billed. You can set and adjust allowances based on your expected payment needs.

For subscriptions, the allowance amount is set higher than the simple calculation of periods × price to account for fee reimbursements, safety margins for price variations, and network fee coverage. This ensures smooth payment processing throughout your subscription period. However, only the actual subscription amount will be withdrawn from your wallet.

When paying with tokens, QBitFlow covers the network fees (gas) in the blockchain's native currency (like ETH on Ethereum) and reimburses these costs by deducting the equivalent amount in tokens from your payment. This creates a gasless experience, so you don't need to hold the native currency.
